Earnest Money Policy Update
Effective immediately, Platinum Real Estate Enterprises will no longer hold earnest money deposits.
To provide greater convenience and reduce administrative processing, agents should arrange for earnest money deposits to be held by the closing attorney selected for the transaction whenever possible and permitted by the purchase and sale agreement.

Agents should communicate with the selected closing attorney's office regarding earnest money delivery instructions, wiring instructions, and escrow procedures at the beginning of each transaction.

There is no requirement to use a specific attorney from the Preferred Closing Attorney Network. We encourage agents to review the available firms and select the attorney office that best fits the needs of their client and transaction.
